Yesterday afternoon the weather stations were seeing extreme weather head into North Carolina.
If you were awake early this morning we already had some rain and heavy fog this morning on your way to work. Visibility was at a minimum.
As of 7:30AM we have 30-40% of more rain around 8-9AM with the blunt of the storm coming in around noon. We’re currently under a high wind advisory until midnight tonight.

As of 8AM we’ve just been informed that wind advisory goes into affect at 9AM and that the heaviest of rain and wind around 3PM with the chance of winds up to or exceeding 70mph. With the amount of rain and wind were expected to receive and the fact that the ground is already saturated down trees are possible. Possibility of some power outages late into the afternoon and tonight could happen due to the weather.
